Thank Golly For Meal Prepping!

Hello and good Sunday morning welcome to Its A Mom Life. For this blog I wanted to take you along with me as I am going to and have been prepping meals for the week. We had a crazy week as my husband had an accident!
With the craziness of life anyways followed by everything else, follow up on another blog.
However with everything thrown at us, suppers and life as been not top priority, however still a nessesety. I had got groceries at least, and now I'm needing to prep stuff so I don't need to worry as much on that aspect. So where to start?
I need to look at what I have, the fridge to start as i need to there, I have meat to separate and bag up, so it can get into the freezer so it won't go bad.
I had bought 2 pork tenderloins so I can get a bit there. So let's cut those up first, and get the pack of chicken cooked up. With the pork there will be pork chunks for a stew or stir fry, then pork chops and a a meal with a half of the loin. Stay tuned for Thursday's recipe blog.
Ok so the meats are taken care of now in to sides. I will do a big pot of potatoes, this can be mashed potatoes and then potato cakes. I will be doing a blog also on those, as we had them last n8ght and I got rushed and forgot to blog it!
Then on to veggies, there is cauliflower as I can sometimes get 2 meals from the one head. I will roast some one day and stream some with a cheese sauce for another. There is then mixed veggies, and any veggies from the freezer as I can go to my freezer inventory for ideas. I also had a big can of cream corn that got used used.
I make a big pot of rice for a couple meals, then the left overrice can be used in the pork stew!
With these I'm hoping to get the week prepped along with a couple weeks of meal planning done, to calm some waters!
I hope you enjoyed this blog, and if you want more like this let me know in the comments down below. Make sure you hit that follow button for all the upcoming blogs.

I was positive that I had other pictures however, this is 2 pork tenderloin, im just trim the fat and cut it into what prices I want. A pork tenderloin, 5 pork chop meals, and two packs of pork chunks! All that from 2 tenderloins I got both for $46.00!!

  1. Buying meat in bulk and dividing it up into meal sized portions is what we do too! It saves lots of time and money!!
